LIGNOLOC® Wooden Nail Systems
Innovative wooden fastening systems supporting circular scenic construction
Partnerships for Change
We've partnered with BECK, fastening experts and the inventors of LIGNOLOC®, to bring this pioneering technology to the UK's stage and screen industry.
LIGNOLOC® nails are the world's first pneumatically driven wooden nails, enabling fast and efficient construction while allowing safe, effective deconstruction, significantly increasing the amount of viable scenic materials that can be recovered and reused when sets are dismantled.

Sustainable Construction Meets Technically Sound Design
LIGNOLOC® wooden nails are metal-free by design, supporting all-timber construction systems and reducing reliance on embedded metal fixings.
For stage and screen production — where sets are frequently adapted, struck and repurposed — this enables safer modification, cleaner deconstruction and significantly greater recovery of viable materials.

Ecological and Sustainable
LIGNOLOC® wooden nails produce substantially lower CO₂ emissions than conventional metal fasteners and enable monomaterial timber assemblies. For productions seeking to reduce embodied carbon and improve end-of-life recovery, this supports more responsible material planning from build through strike.
Efficient and Time-Saving
Pneumatically driven into timber without the need for pre-drilling, LIGNOLOC® systems integrate seamlessly into existing workshop processes. For scenic teams working to tight schedules, this maintains build efficiency while supporting circular outcomes at strike.
Enhanced Fire Resistance
Unlike steel fixings, LIGNOLOC® wooden nails do not conduct heat in the same way and perform in line with timber behaviour in fire scenarios. For set environments where fire safety and material compliance are critical, this provides a technically sound fastening option within timber assemblies.
